Access to HPC - Ondemand

  • Ondemand link

  • You can login from anywhere

  • You will (still) need:

    • An approved cluster account- e.g rxf131

  • Enter your CaseID and the Single Sign-On password

  • Applications: browser (only Safari is known to not support all features)

  • Google Chrome: Recommended

  • Interactive Applications: Connect to an interactive batch job running a web server
  • HPC Cluster: Collection of many separate servers (computers), called nodes
  • R: Language and environment for statistical computing and graphics
  • Python: General purpose object oriented programming language
  • R studio: Integrated development environment for R
  • R Shiny: Open source R package of web applications
  • Code server: Open-source development environment that allows you to run code on remote server through the browser
